The final Career Mentoring Breakfast and Celebration for 2021 took place in August via Zoom. The mentoring program has grown from strength to strength over the past few years and provides a great opportunity for CTHS’ Year 11 students to work with and be mentored by business people in a chosen field of interest. The mentors include: CTHS Alumni, CTHS parents, as well as a number of business people who have an ongoing relationship with the school.

It was great to see, even in the current lockdown period, this important aspect of the program was enabled by the technology available to the school. A big thank you to the Careers staff for their time and effort in making this Mentoring Program a reality and such a success. Similarly the effort, commitment and support by the Mentors is also recognised. The mentoring process has given CTHS’ students a unique insight into an industry they may wish to pursue as a career in the future.
